Born in NYC and currently residing on Long Island with her husband and three children, Jennifer received her first camera for her eighth birthday. She has been creating photographs ever since.

Jennifer graduated with a BFA in photography from Long Island University in 1991 where she studied with Arthur Leipzig and Joan Powers. She was presented with the "Photography Award for Artistic Excellence" upon graduating. She received her MFA also at Long Island University in 2004 where she studied with Frank Dituri.

Her work has been included in numerous exhibits in both the United States and Europe. She was recently included in an exhibition at the International Museum of Women in Art in Abruzzo, Italy where her work is now part of the permanent collection.
