Since 2017, I haven't picked up my camera to take a single image until now. Life has not been kind to me since then, but there is no reason to complain about it. I am on the other side of it now and looking forward to what will come next.
I am shooting solely with my #Rollei now. The simplicity of it is what I am drawn to. I am looking to get back into the #darkroom and printing in #Platinum again as well. Having my hand in the process, the freedom to paint the emulsion on myself is very rewarding. Each final image, like a little gift.
Speaking of gifts, sometimes when you go back and look at your contact sheets and negatives over time, an image that you overlooked surprises you. This was the case below of Julia sleeping when she was about 5.
