My painting journey is progressing. I am trying different techniques but always maintaining working in oils. The smell of linseed oil still gets me every time I walk into my studio. I do
think I need to get a larger assortment of natural brushes. I think I will try Rosemary & Co. in the UK to see if I like them better than the ones I am currently using which I'm not quite happy with. This painting, simply titled Pears in Mortar is almost complete. I used a build and destroy method which allowed me to get a bit more painterly with my brushstrokes.
